August 5th, 2017 saw our largest and most successful Alumni Day to date. We loved seeing you reunite with old friends, enjoy the Water Park, ziplines, BBQ lunch and dinner, and of course, witness the excitement of Color War!
We welcome from our alumni any information and new photos or old (especially from your days at Camp Pontiac!) Please share your fondest Pontiac memories with us by reaching out to us at email@example.com
Camp Pontiac was established for boys and girls in 1922. For many years it was a highly regarded camp under the direction of the Horowitz family. The torch was passed to the Etra family in 1995, who still work closely with the Horowitz family to this day. We rebuilt camp’s entire infrastructure and external facility and now boast one of the most beautiful, safest and expansive facilities in the camping industry.
With approximately 600 campers and 350 staff, we are now firmly established as one of the premier camps in the northeast. We have a very active and large alumni and we delight in their visits to rekindle the best days of their lives. Most fun for us is watching our campers complete their CIT (Camper in Transition) year and Junior Counselor program to become an integral part of our Camp Pontiac staff.
